Announcing our March 2027 Retreat:
March 22nd - March 25th

General ticket sales will open Thursday, November 12th, at 9am PST.
Read details below, and mark your calendars as tickets will go fast!

Our March retreat is a very special meeting of minds, techniques, and yarn! We are so thrilled to be welcoming designer Tayler Harris and Woolfolk Brand Manager Tim Wagoner as our guests for our March retreat. Tayler is a knitwear designer and teacher based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Her designs are inspired by the unique landscapes of her home state, from its rugged mountains and canyons to its expansive deserts and national parks. Tayler’s approach to design and knitwear construction is meditative and tranquil, characteristics she hopes translate into every aspect of the knitter’s experience, long after they’ve finished their handknit pieces.

Once again our luxurious getaway in Southern Oregon will take place at The Winchester Inn, and can accommodate 23 Guests. These retreats sell out quickly, so don’t wait to book your ticket! See full details below.

Testimonials:

““Such a well organized retreat with so many thoughtful touches.”
“It was an incredible group of ladies, and I really enjoyed everything about this Retreat. I would definitely like to attend a future retreat with Websters.”
"You went above and beyond to provide us all with a special time.”
“Thank you so much for a wonderful well planned retreat, I would not have changed a thing.”
“I haven’t had so much fun in a long time! Everything was perfectly planned out.”

Our retreat begins at the luxurious Winchester Inn, located in the heart of Ashland. A mere 2 blocks from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Winchester Inn has a long history of providing a boutique hotel experience for playgoers, and they are excited to welcome back our group of knitters! Each retreat guest will have their own unique room, which are all appointed with fresh flowers, plush terry cloth robes, Antica Farmacista toiletries, and afternoon pastry treats. We will enjoy gourmet breakfast on site each day, and use their charming parlor for social knitting in the evenings.

Testimonials:
“Such a lovely space. I didn’t want to leave my beautiful suite of rooms."
“I felt totally pampered!”
“I don’t believe I’ve ever stayed at such accommodating lodging. The afternoon treats and special touches were quite unique and made for an extraordinary stay. I also think the location in relation to The Websters and Main Street shopping was great!”

Tayler will be teaching 3 different popular short row techniques; how to perform them, their pros and cons, and how to interchange them. She has designed a shawlette for our retreat that will allow you to select your gauge, as well as your preferred short row technique, and you will be able to take home the start of a lovely custom project.

Since the design can be worked at any gauge, we will spend time with Tim learning all about Woolfolk yarns, trying them out, and then selecting which one to use for our own shawls. This is a wonderful opportunity to do a deep dive into one of our favorite yarn brands, and get hands on experience with their entire range of yarns.

As always, we will be seeing a play at OSF, and this time you will have a choice of 2 plays:

Hamlet: A quintessential story of vengeance, madness, and mortality featuring some of Shakespeare’s most rivetingly transcendent language, Hamlet is perfect for Shakespeare fans

A Loco-Motive for Murder: When newspaper tycoon Edmund Blaublüt turns up dead on a swanky European train, the stage is set for murder … and hilarity! This will be an evening performance in the Indoor theater.

Testimonials:
"Being able to attend the theater was frosting on the cake! What a treat as I’ve only been to one Shakespeare play at Ashland years ago!"
“It was great! Made for a long day, but it was worth it.”
“Ahh, the play was perfect and that it was close enough to walk to was a big plus.”
“This was my very first Oregon Shakespeare Festival play, and it was so entertaining! I had a great evening.”

Ashland is home to many incredible culinary establishments, two of which are right on site of our retreat! Our retreat includes all meals during your stay, and we will be dining at several unforgettable restaurants, including Alchemy Restaurant and Bar, and Chateaubriand 36.

“Embark on a culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of Ashland, where each dish is a celebration of local ingredients, expert craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to delivering an unparalleled dining experience.”

Testimonials:
“I live and dine in San Francisco, and this was the best meal I've had in years.”
“It was delightful to have luxury dining experiences during the Retreat, giving us the perfect settings for all of us to be able to get to know a little bit about each other.”

Southern Oregon is home to many award winning wineries and vineyards, and we will enjoy an afternoon of tasting with a local sommelier! Tastings are all included. Bring a portable knitting project and enjoy the lovely terrace and incomparable wines of the Rogue Valley.

And of course, our retreat will include ample time at our beloved Local Yarn Shop! We will have a private shopping afternoon for you to visit and explore our huge selection of yarn, spinning and weaving equipment, Art to Wear clothing and jewelry, as well as a trunk show of garments and accessories from Woolfolk! We will have some local wines and snacks available. We can’t wait to meet you and share our knowledge and enthusiasm for all things fiber!

Testimonials:
“What a delightful group of young women working in your shop. They were so helpful and sweet with each and every customer.”
“So fun and everyone is so helpful!! I found everything and more!! I need a bigger budget next time so I can actually stay within!”
“Everyone was so helpful and went above and beyond what I've experienced in other small shops”
