Sari is known for her clean, timeless designs rooted in Scandinavian style and minimalism. Drawing inspiration from architecture, contemporary design, and classic silhouettes, she creates knitting patterns that feel both modern and enduring.

Laura Nelkin is practically synonymous with the knitting scene. She is a world renowned designer and teacher, with endless creativity and enthusiasm to spare… plus she is just so much fun to be around!
When we decided to do a retreat that featured the Cabaret Theater, we knew Laura (and her alter-ego Lola!) would be the perfect choice.

We are thrilled to announce Lavanya Patricella as our first retreat teacher of 2026!
Lavanya Patricella is an American fiber artist, knitting instructor, knitwear designer and photographer based in North Eastern Pennsylvania. She’s been teaching knitting since 2010 and specializes in the captivating brioche stitch.

We have been longtime fans of Olga Buraya-Kefelian’s innovative approach to textured knits, and we are exciteded to be bringing her to Southern Oregon!
Olga has been creating imaginative yet versatile knitwear under the brand Olgajazzy since 2006. Her body of work is versatile, wearable and impeccably finished knitwear with an instantly identifiable flair.

Julie is the founder and owner of Cocoknits, and created the Cocoknits Method so people can try on garments as they knit and customize along the way, ultimately achieving the fit and style that they want.

Once again we have teamed up with the extraordinary crew of the Winchester Inn, and enlisted Fair Isle and colorwork expert Gudrun Johnston, to bring you a one-of-a-kind luxury getaway in Southern Oregon!
Gudrun will share lots of fascinating information about this remote group of islands including the knitting heritage, the production of Jamieson’s wool, Shetland Sheep and her own personal connection with it all, as well as two Shetland themed classes!
