Freia Shaniko Merino Worsted Superwash Yarn
Description
Shaniko Worsted Superwash is a supersoft, 3ply yarn with wonderful stitch definition. Grown in Oregon and milled in North Carolina, the Shaniko wool is supplied under the Responsible Wool Standard, protecting animal welfare, social welfare and land health. The yarn is hand dyed with acid dyes using processes that are gentle to the environment. In conjunction with Freia’s gradient dyeing methods, the superwash process creates a slightly speckled yarn, which is normal and gives the yarn an appealing gentle heathered look. This treatment allows your finished product to be washed in a washing machine and dried on low in the dryer.
