This seasonal, fall-focused sashiko class teaches advanced beginning sashiko stitching skills using a fall maple leaf pattern. Students will create a Moyozashi stitch pattern using a grid stencil and specialized template to create a maple leaf block. Unlike in past classes where students use preprinted samplers, this class will introduce students to drawing their own patterns.

*Materials must be purchased ahead of class time.

Materials:

• Fabric will be provided by instructor
• Sashiko Grid Stencil by Socorro Society
• 1 fall color sashiko thread
• Lecien Hidamari Sashiko Needles
• Clover White Marking Pen
• Scissors or snips
• Palm thimble or Little House Grippers (optional)

The Websters Class Policies:

• Pre-registration is required for all classes.
• Materials must be purchased in the shop ahead of class.
• Classes have a 4-6 person limit, depending on the class.
• Classes need a minimum of 3 students to run. If the minimum is not met by 2 days prior to class, the class will be cancelled and students will be offered a refund or store credit.
• Student cancellations more than 2 days in advance will be issued a store credit.
• Student cancellations less than 2 days of class are not eligible for a store credit.
• “No shows” are not eligible for a store credit.
