Get ready for the holidays with your own customized Christmas stockings. Using the Pacific Knit Co. Doodle charts you will design your own stranded colorwork stocking. In this class, the basics for stranded colorwork, duplicate stitch, turning a heel and Kitchener stitch will be covered.

Prerequisite: cast on, bind off, knit, purl, ribbing stitch, some colorwork experience is helpful or have taken the Beginning Colorwork cup cozy class.

Materials:

• Holiday 1 Doodle Stocking pattern from Pacific Knit Co.
• 275 yards approx. of DK weight yarn (MC) & 50 yards each approx. of 4-6 contrasting colors (sample in Berroco Ultra Wool DK)
• US 4 & 6 16" circular needles or DPNs
• Stitch markers, stitch holder or scrap yarn
• Additional doodle charts (optional)

Homework:

• There are 2 sizes, pick one: Narrow 11.5 (Wide 15)" circumference
• With US 4 needles and Main Color, cast on 72 (96) stitches
• Place a marker for beginning of round and join in the round
• Work k2, p2, ribbing for 1.5" or desired length 

The Websters Class Policies:

• Pre-registration is required for all classes.
• Materials must be purchased in the shop ahead of class.
• Classes have a 4-6 person limit, depending on the class.
• Classes need a minimum of 3 students to run. If the minimum is not met by 2 days prior to class, the class will be cancelled and students will be offered a refund or store credit.
• Student cancellations more than 2 days in advance will be issued a store credit.
• Student cancellations less than 2 days of class are not eligible for a store credit.
• “No shows” are not eligible for a store credit.
