Churchmouse Pattern Two-Point Cowl in Rowan Brushed Fleece

Description

Inspired by the ever-popular "Easy Folded Poncho" by Churchmouse, this scaled down version is totally seamless and slips easily over the shoulders. The simple shape makes it easy to re-yarn in another gauge. Just swatch for a softly draping fabric, then multiply the schematic dimensions by your sttich gauge; the math is easy!

Pattern Details:

Finished Measurements: 18" width x 14" depth, folded (shoulder section); 22" circumference x 7" depth (cowl collar)

Yarn: 4 balls of Rowan Brushed Fleece

Needles and Notions: US 5 16" & 24" circular needles (sport version), US 10.5 16" & 24" circular needles (chunky version); spare 16" circular needle, US D/3 crochet hook, 1 locking marker, 1 stitch marker, smooth fingering or worsted weight waste yarn, darning needle, blocking wires and T-pins

Gauge: 22 stitches & 30 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch (sport version); 13 stitches & 21 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch (chunky version)
