Description

These little handmade pals, created by Jennifer Evans, are perfect on the holiday mantelpiece, tree, or packages. But they’ll celebrate any season cheerfully! Originally designed for fingering weight yarn like Rowan Fine Tweed, they're also great a bit bigger in DK weight yarn like Rowan Tweed DK. Once you start knitting them, you won’t be able to stop!

Pattern Details:

Sizes: Tiny Wee Elf (Larger Wee Elf, Great Elf)

Finished Measurements: 3.5" (4.5, 18)" tall or desired height 

Yarn: 
Tiny Wee Elf: 2 skeins Rowan Fine Tweed; 1 skein each of MC & SC (scarf color), plus approx. 10 yards of FC (face color)

Larger Wee Elf: 2 skeins Rowan Tweed DK; 1 skein each of MC & SC, plus approx. 12 yards of FC

Great Elf: 4 skeins Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool; 1 skein each of MC, FC, HC (hat color) & SC

Needles and Notions: US 1.5 (3, 17)" double pointed needles or two 24" circular needles, 1" outside diameter flat metal washers per elf (Tiny Wee Elf & Larger Wee Elf), Wool or polyester stuffing (Tiny Wee Elf & Larger Wee Elf), 1 locking stitch marker, tapestry needle

Gauge: 28-32 (24-26, 6) stitches = 4" in stockinette stitch in the round
