This all-knit blanket is a study in simplicity. Renee Brofsky's original multicolor version has primitive patchwork appeal while black-and-white gives it a modern graphic edge. Knit in strips, this is a very portable project with just a little simple seaming. To size it up to afghan or coverlet proportions, just add squares. Or make each square larger. Or use a chunkier yarn and bigger needles. How easy is that?!
