Brise into Autumn with Woolfolk
Aug 26th 2026
This time of year we are drawn to transitional yarns, or all-season yarns... for garments and accessories that can be worn no matter the weather. This typically means a blend of animal and plant fiber, and bonus points for good breathability. Literally pronounced as "breeze," Woolfolk Brise yarn fits the bill.
We just received a restock of Brise, including some brand new colors AND a trunk show of garments that we immediately began trying on. This collection of designs embodies a trans-seasonal wardrobe; you can imagine wearing a Crippen cardigan as the days start and end with cooler temps, the Sediment sweater could be worn for a day trip to the lake or over a turtleneck once winter arrives. These versatile pieces are made even better by the incredibly squishy soft yarn that is 68% ultimate Merino and 32% Pima cotton, the perfect blend for warmth, ease to work with, and breathability.
We love Tayler Harris for her elegant patterns that first appear simple, but with details that surprise and delight. Crippen is a beautifully tailored, top down cardigan with short row shaping for the neckline and shoulders. Her use of reverse stockinette stitch makes it feel like a cozy sweatshirt you'll never want to take off, while the button band and ribbing details keep it classy.

Sediment is an oversized pullover with a seamless shoulder and a flattering V-neck. Worn with a generous amount of ease, this piece works well for layering as we move through seasons, but is of course next-to-skin soft.

Claystone is another winner from Tayler Harris, taking a basic pullover and elevating it with a modern sleeve shape that can be made short or long. Once again, this pattern lets the yarn truly shine, creating a garment that is easy to wear year after year.

We are gearing up for our busiest season with huge restocks of our favorite bags from ReDesigned! Since it came on the market, Project 39 has been our best seller, and with good reason. Two sets of straps mean it can be carried or worn as a crossbody, and with SO many colors to choose from the hardest part will be picking just one! While we are all smitten with the new Sapphire Blue color, the range of browns simply can't be beat. The unique diagonally placed zipper allows for an ease of access that has made this a game-changing knitting bag that you have to experience for yourself!
If something slightly smaller is more your style, we love the addition of the long strap to the Project 78 and 79 bags. These are the same sizes as the well known Project 9 and 10, but now with the addition of contrast colored "elbow patches" and a crossbody strap for ease of carrying.

Our two newest styles this year are our largest and smallest ReDesigned bags yet!
We love Project 116 for its generous size and two strap options, but with a sleek front that gives it an elevated appearance.
On the opposite side of the size spectrum, wee Project 36 is seen here containing a Sophie scarf, and is ideal for holding your small projects, or keeping your notions at your fingertips when added to a larger bag.
