The Ashford Intro to Dyeing King is for those curious about making their own beautiful hand dyed yarns. Ashford wool dyes are perfect for dyeing all protein fibers, yarns and even fabrics. You can use on wool, silk, cashmere, mohair, angora, llama, alpaca, vicuna, feathers and any other protein fiber you can think of. The only mordant required is white vinegar. You can use the microwave method, stove top, slow cooker or steam methods for Ashford dyes. 

Kit includes:

• 40 grams of dye in hot pink, yellow, black and blue (enough to dye 8.82 pounds of yarn)
• 2 skeins of 100 gram fingering weight yarn (75" wool 25% nylon)
