Lace (8+) Gauge Yarn

The finest of the yarns. Lace weight yarn is primarily used for open web-like or gossamer knits such as shawls. Anything finer than fingering weight can be classified as lace weight. Depending on the type of lace desired, lace weight yarn is knit on everything from US 2-7 knitting needles.
