Schacht carries two different types of heddles: inserted eye heddles and Texsolv heddles. Texsolv heddles are lighter and quieter than the wire heddles, but are slower to thread. Inserted eye heddles are wire heddles with a round inserted eye. They are excellent for larger, textured yarns or fine delicate yarns.

• For Schacht Table Looms, Wolf Pup looms (all models) and Baby Wolf looms, we recommend inserted eye heddles—Texsolv heddles are too light.
• For Mighty Wolf and Standard Floor Looms, either inserted eye heddles or 9" Texsolv heddles (brown) work well.
