Cloud Drift is an exciting collaboration from Simply Shetland, Madelinetosh and Gudrun Johnston for Rhinebeck 2024. The construction of the cowl takes inspiration from Shetland hap shawls, which is worked flat with yarn overs along one edge and then seamed together. Cloud Drift features mosaic knitting, a fun colorwork technique (without stranding!), all on a garter stitch background.

The kit includes all the yarn you need to knit the cowl: 5 skeins of Jamieson’s Spindrift (2 of main color and 1 each of 3 contrasting colors), 1 skein of Madelinetosh Tosh Silk Cloud in limited edition color Plivver, a golden Boxie Bag by Della Q and a postcard with free download of the pattern designed by Gudrun Johnston.
