2024 marks our 40th Anniversary! To celebrate our "Ruby" anniversary, we will be gifting 40 raffle prizes!

Fall Shawl KAL

Autumn is right around the corner, and we're excited to be hosting a Fall Shawl Knit-a-Long! Join Christina and Sarah in knitting the Artus Shawl designed by Natasja Hornby, a stunning sport weight shawl with a rich tapestry of texture and color.

Join us at Moxie Brewery & Taphouse for a night of social crafting (knitters and crocheters welcome!). Moxie offers a range of beer, kombucha and cocktails as well as salads, sandwiches and small plates. While this event is free to attend, we ask that you, please RSVP.

Cecelia Campochiaro Workshops

Cecelia Campochiaro appeared on the knitting scene in 2015 with her debut book, Sequence Knitting; a reference book about creating texture with simple repeatable patterns. Her second book, Making Marls, delves into the technique of working multiple strands together as one to create colorwork in handknitting. Cecelia is a master of “unventing” new ways to make amazing knit fabrics, and we have 2 great workshops to delve into her techniques.








 

Modern Lace Workshop

Laces and gauzes made with sequence knitting are beautiful! This class will discuss different ways to create open, airy fabrics; what the challenges are. You will swatch a new shawl pattern in a reversible lace. If you haven’t made lace before, this is a good introduction.

Marling Introduction Workshop

This class is an introduction to using marls as a design element in hand knitting. It will include how marled fabrics work, some of the practical challenges of working with marls, and many different ways to use marls like the microswatching technique for different visual effects.
