2026 Temperature Blanket Make-a-Long

Join us for our year-long 2026 Temperature Blanket Make-a-Long that's open to knitters and crocheters alike! Thursday, January 8th at 5:30pm will be our first MAL check-in here at the shop. Beginning in February, we'll have regular MAL check-ins the first Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:30pm.

Knit for Food 2026

Knit for Food is a 12 hour knitting marathon to raise funds and awareness for food insecurity. All funds raised will be equally divided between Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry and Meals on Wheels. We've set up Team Websters and our staffer Sarah, has committed to knitting for the cause.

Poet Scarf KAL

Celebrate spring and join us in making the Poet Scarf. This lace scarf uses only 2 balls of Knitting for Olive yarn. Wear it as a scarf, shawl, headwrap or neckerchief.

Cast on: April 16th, 5:30-6:30pm
Bind off: May 14th, 5:30-6:30pm

Your finished scarf gets you an entry for a prize! Join us in store or online. Tag us on Instagram to share your progress and post your finished scarf to be entered.

Social Stitching

We're open late every Thursday evening to host weekly Social Stitching (previously called Knit Nights) down at the shop! We use this time to invite local makers with the goal of providing a welcoming space full of creative inspiration for knitters, crocheters and handworkers of all types. So, bring your current project and a friend, and we hope to see you there!

Social Knitting & Crocheting

Join us in the shop for social knitting or crocheting and meet other local yarn crafters! It's free to participate, just drop by and join in the fun.

Bulky Brioche Slouch Hat Workshop

Join guest instructor Lavanya Patricella (renowned knitwear designer and Brioche Knitting Workshop author) for an introduction to brioche. Designed with the beginner brioche knitter in mind, this hat uses 2 colors of bulky weight yarn and features simple, in the round, 2-color brioche.

Olga Buraya-Kefelian Workshops

We have been longtime fans of Olga Buraya-Kefelian’s innovative approach to textured knits, and we are so thrilled to be bringing her to Southern Oregon. We will explore the texture and construction of origami knitting with an artist whose name is synonymous with the form. Olga draws inspiration from industrial and architectural fields, combined with her passion for European and Japanese design. Her body of work is versatile, wearable, and impeccably finished knitwear with an instantly identifiable flair, and she travels the globe sharing her techniques with knitters.

Origami Knitting Full Day

The Full Day Workshop includes the morning session on Origami Knitting Introduction Part 1 class, as well as lunch with Olga and an afternoon session on Origami Knitting Part 2, where you will work on your own wearable origami accessory, the Yabane Cowl.

Kuguri-Sashi Sashiko

This Sashiko class builds on the skills taught in our Sashiko Basics class and introduces Kuguri-Sashi Sashiko Stitching. Explore two traditional patterns and learn to draw your pattern, correctly size the grid, stitch foundation stitches and weave the top thread.

A continuation of our Beginning Knitting 101, this class and will broaden your skills in the world of knitting. Learn how to make the Barley hat while building on the use of knit and purl stitches, knit increases and the use of DPNs.

Pelica Vest

The Pelica Vest is worked in garter stitch from the top down in a seamless construction framed with I-cord edges throughout. This intermediate class will cover applied I-cord, picking up stitches, provisional cast on and more!

Color and Weave: Houndstooth
