Dozens of patterns can be created by combining light and dark yarns in the warp and weft. Learn how to make a scarf in a houndstooth pattern with high contrast yarns.

Prerequisite: Basic weaving or equivalent skills. Must know how to warp a rigid heddle loom.

*Materials must be purchased ahead of class time.

Materials:

• 2 skeins of Malabrigo Merino Worsted or Rios in contrast colors
• Rigid Heddle loom 10" or wider with 8 dent reed
  (Buy or rent an Ashford Sampleit 10" loom or a Schacht 10" Cricket Loom)
• 2 stick shuttles

The Websters Class Policies:

• Pre-registration is required for all classes.
• Materials must be purchased in the shop ahead of class.
• Classes have a 4-6 person limit, depending on the class.
• Classes need a minimum of 3 students to run. If the minimum is not met by 2 days prior to class, the class will be cancelled and students will be offered a refund or store credit.
• Student cancellations more than 2 days in advance will be issued a store credit.
• Student cancellations less than 2 days of class are not eligible for a store credit.
• “No shows” are not eligible for a store credit.
