Description

This deceptively simple top is cleverly knit from the center out to each side rather than from top to bottom or vice versa. It's a modern pivot to a familiar style. A tapered shape allows for plenty of ease at the bust while providing a relaxed and flattering bottom edge at hip length.

Finished Measurements: 49.25 (57.5, 65.5, 73)" bust circumference at armholes; 17.5-21.5 (19.5-23.5, 21.5-25.5, 23-27)" positive ease; 20.5 (22.75, 25.5, 28)" length from high shoulder to bottom edge

Yarn: 7 (9, 11, 13) skeins of Shibui Reed held double or 5 (6, 7, 9) skeins of Rowan Felted Tweed held single

*Note: To lengthen or shorten add/subtract 35 (40, 45, 50) yards of yarn for each 1" of knitted body length.

Needles and Notions: US 7 24" circular needle, US 6 16" & 32" circular needles, US D/3 crochet hook, 5 yards smooth fingering weight waste yarn, 30 locking stitch markers, 8 spare circular needles (to knit off of needle from either end or you can use waste yarn), darning needle
