Description

Here's a pattern for the simple sweater you'd be willing to buy, if only you could find it. The fit is easy, styling simple, fabric relaxed and the details just right. Only this is better because you can customize the style and fit. The pattern is shown in a couple of combinations of length and edgings (short with long ribbing or long with short) or change the the length entirely to suit you.

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) To fit bust size: 32–34 (36–38, 40–42, 44–46, 48–50)"

Finished Measurements: 42.5 (46.5, 50, 54.5, 59)" bust; 23.25(23.5, 24.25, 24.5, 25)" Hip-length version; 30.25 (30.5, 31.25, 31.5, 32)" Tunic-length version; 24 (25, 26, 27, 28)" center back neck to cuff; 8-10" positive ease

Yarn: 8 (8, 9, 10, 10) skeins for Hip Length or 9 (10, 10, 11, 12) skeins for Tunic Length of Rowan Kid Classic

*Note: to lengthen or shorten body add or subtract 30 (33, 35, 39, 41) yards per 1" of knitted length.

Needles and Notions: US 8 24" circular needle (both versions); US 7 16" & 24" circular needle (Rib Neck version); US 6 16" & 24" circular needle (Funnel Neck version); ring markers, darning needle

Gauge: 18 stitches & 25 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch on larger needles
