Candice English, the owner and operator at The Farmer's Daughter Fibers, embodies her rich Native American heritage, family ways, and her home state of Montana into all aspects of her work. Candace started a nonprofit called Sisters United in 2019; within the first year they raised almost $20,000 (with the help of the Fiber Arts community!) for organizations who are empowering and supporting Native American Women.

This lace weight strand is a luscious blend of Suri alpaca and silk, which boasts a fluffy halo and adds durability to any project. We love its soft, speckled, hand dyed goodness for drapey shawls and cowls - and it's also great held together with other yarns to create an elevated fabric for sweater and hat projects.
