The Gift of Crafting This Holiday Season

Still looking for that perfect something to place under the tree this year? We're embracing the idea of giving the gift of crafting this holiday. From embroidery kits to crochet kits, needle felting kits to weaving kits; there are countless options to inspire that creative person in your life.

By giving the gift of crafting, you are not only providing a thoughtful and personalized present, but also encouraging your loved ones to explore their creativity and learn new skills. You could even gift a spot in one of our upcoming classes, and give them something to look forward to in the New Year!

Felted Mushrooms & Succulent

One of our favorite "non-knit" crafts is needle felting. If you've been considering learning, we encourage you to give it a try - it's straightforward and super addicting (some might even call it therapeutic?!). The Felted Sky Mini Needle Felting Kits makes it easy to learn sculptural needle felting. Each beautifully packaged kit comes with high quality materials and video instructions that walk you through each step from start to finish.

Craft Emporium Round Loom Kit

We stock a variety of cute little laser cut looms from Craft Emporium. The Round Loom kit (featured above) lets you enjoy circular weaving to the fullest. The kit includes 3 different round loom sizes so you can play for hours. The kit is full of almost everything you need to get started - you’ll just need to add embroidery floss, which you can find here.

Perhaps you know someone who loves the idea of weaving, but doesn't know where to start? The Bookmark Loom and Mini Loom (featured below) are both great ways to start weaving. Each loom kit is full of everything you need to get started - including a 10 gram Knitted Wit Gems hand dyed mini skein!

DMC Eco Vita Embroidery Kits

These DMC Eco Vita Embroidery Kits feature lovely floral patterns, and contain everything you need to complete the project: 4 skeins of Eco Vita wool thread, a wooden embroidery hoop, a needle, a pattern printed on 100% linen fabric, and an instructional booklet.

We love the Eco Vita Wool Thread featured in these kits. It's 100% organic, crewel wool embroidery thread that is naturally dyed with ingredients such as walnut, rhubarb, indigo and juniper. This versatile thread with its fluffy quality, is not only great for embroidery but also suitable for a wide range of craft techniques and needlework. Projects can be hand washed at 30 degrees, so it’s ideal for visible mending, darning, weaving or embellishing cherished textiles. You can buy additional Eco Vita Wool Thread here.
