Fall Shawl Knit-a-Long
Sep 7th 2024
Autumn is right around the corner, and we're excited to be hosting our Fall Shawl Knit-a-Long! We'd love for you to join us in knitting the Artus Shawl by Natasja Hornby. This stunning sport weight shawl is a sight to behold; a rich tapestry of texture and color. The mosaic border is easy to work, allowing for creative color combinations that consistently produce fantastic results. Artus is a substantial wrap with a distinct presence; it’s both eye-catching and functional, a true statement piece.
We'll be casting-on in store on Thursday, Sept 26th at 5pm. If you're local, we encourage you to come down to the shop early and have our friendly staff help you find the perfect color combination for your Artus shawl. Not local? Not to worry - we've filled this email with our top yarn choices for knitting the Artus, as well as a variety of curated colorways. As always, we encourage you to share your KAL progress in our Websters Makers FB Group or on Instagram (and don't forget to tag us!)

The Artus shawl requires 5 colors, and the designer recommends choosing a yarn with a high wool content in a non-superwash quality. Christina is hosting our KAL, and she'll be using Berroco Lanas Light to knit her shawl.

This yarn has an broad palette of over 30 colors to choose from, making it a great choice for building your perfect Artus colorway.
