Freia Fine Handpaints
Raised in both England and the USA, founder and lead designer Tina Whitmore sources fibers as much as she can from within the USA. Using locally manufactured acid dyes throughout, which offer the greatest consistency and are environmentally friendly. To achieve the long color runs Freia Fine Handpaint Yarns has developed their own dyeing process and though labor intensive, the hands-on nature of the process ensures an even consistency in the yarn and colors over multiple dye lots. Tina also has a line of knitting patterns called Knitwhits showcasing her beautiful yarns.
