This pattern originally appeared in the Fall 2007 issue of Interweave Knits magazine. The design was inspired by the work of Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. His geometric, structural patterns at the Seattle Public Library informed the cabled lattice motif encircling the beanie. Designed by Jared Flood.

Sizes: Small/Medium (Large)
To fit head sizes: 19-22″ (23-24)”

Finished Measurements: 20" head circumference; 7 (8)" height

Yarn: 1 skein of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter

Needles and Notions: US 8 & US 6 16" circular needles, US 8 double pointed needles, stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needlee

Gauge: 26 stitches & 30 rows = 4" in Koolhaas chart on larger needle
