The official 2025 Shetland Wool Week knitting pattern the ‘Aal Ower Toorie’ has been exclusively designed by the Shetland Guild of Spinners, Knitters, Weavers and Dyers as the SWW Patrons for 2025. The design is based on a diamond grid, making it a continuous allover design – horizontally, vertically and diagonally. The name ‘Aal Ower Toorie’, not only signifies that it is based on an allover design, but is also a tribute to Guild members, who reside “aal ower” Shetland.

The kit includes all the yarn you need to knit the hat: 8 balls of Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift in complementary colors and the Aal Ower Toorie pattern.
