Premium Yak Sock yarn is a fine blend of 21-micron superwash merino, yak and nylon. Yak wool has very fine fibers creating garments that are soft, warm and comfortable, yet lightweight. The merino fibers have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore the yarn will not felt when dyed or washed. This yarn base is white, rather than the natural color of yak so, when dyed, will show the true richness and vibrancy of your chosen colors.
