Description

The Base Doodle Fingerless Mitts will keep your hands cozy while sporting your favorite motifs. The simple shape and easy construction makes these mitts a quick and satisfying project. These mitts start with a simple ribbed cuff, followed by a section of optional colorwork. Work the thumb hole, a second short colorwork section, then finish with upper ribbing.

Pattern Details:

Finished Measurements: 6 (8, 10)" hand circumferenece; 7.5 (10, 12.5)" mitt height

Yarn: 250 (300, 350) yards of DK, light worsted or sport weight

Needles & Notions: US 5 8" circular or double pointed needles plus one size smaller needle for ribbing (optional), sttitch markers, tapestry needle 

Gauge: 24 stitches & 24 rounds = 4" in colorwork
