The Base Doodle Cowl DK is the perfect first Doodle project, this simple shape can be used for building a scene or simply stacking your favorite charts together. This pattern is worked in the round, beginning with a ribbed bottom edge, followed by a section of optional stranded colorwork and finishing in ribbing along the top edge.

Finished Measurements: 16, 20 (24, 28, 32)" circumferenece; 8, 10 (12, 12, 14)" height

Yarn: 200, 300 (430, 500, 675) yards of DK, light worsted or sport weight 

Needles & Notions: US 5 16" or 24" circular needles plus one size smaller needle for ribbing (optional), sttitch markers, tapestry needle

Gauge: 24 stitches & 24 rounds = 4" in colorwork
