The Sophie Hood is a fantastic class to improve on a few basic knitting skills. The interesting construction of the hood allows the garment to be knit in one piece from tip to tip. Some of the skills we will learn are increasing, decreasing, attached i-cord and mattress stitch on garter stitch.

Prerequisite Skills: cast on and knit stitch, purl stitch and knitting flat with circular needles.

*Materials must be purchased ahead of class time.

Materials:

• Sophie Hood Pattern by PetiteKnit
• 4-6 balls of Isager Soft or worsted/aran weight yarn (Small: 500 yards, Medium: 625 yards, Large: 750 yards)
• US 8 24" circular needle
• Removable stitch markers
• Waste yarn or stitch holder

The Websters Class Policies:

• Pre-registration is required for all classes.
• Materials must be purchased in the shop ahead of class.
• Classes have a 4-6 person limit, depending on the class.
• Classes need a minimum of 3 students to run. If the minimum is not met by 2 days prior to class, the class will be cancelled and students will be offered a refund or store credit.
• Student cancellations more than 2 days in advance will be issued a store credit.
• Student cancellations less than 2 days of class are not eligible for a store credit.
• “No shows” are not eligible for a store credit.
