This is a perfect beginner class that will teach you how to work with 2 colors, simple jogless stripes, and two different decreases. You will have enough yarn to invert the colors to make a second hat for a coordinating set or a gift.

Prerequisites: must know how to cast on, knit and purl.

*Materials must be purchased ahead of class time.

Materials:

• BT Turn a Square pattern (provided by instructor)
• 1 skein each of TWO colors of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter or Blue Sky Woolstok Worsted
• US 5 & US 7 16" circular needles
• US 7 double pointed needles
• 4 stitch markers
• Tapestry needle

Homework: 

• With Main Color and US 5 circular needle, cast on 96 stitches using the long tail cast on. Place a unique marker and join to work in the round being careful not to twist your stitches
• Ribbing Round: *Knit 2, purl 2; repeat from * to end of round
• Repeat the Ribbing Round until piece measures 1" from cast-on edge
• Stop and bring your work to class

The Websters Class Policies:

• Classes need a minimum of 3 students to run. If the minimum is not met by 2 days prior to class, students will be notified and credited for a future class.

• Cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund.
