We will cover color dominance, trapping floats, tension, reading charts and ways to hold your yarn when working with two colors. Prerequisites: cast on, bind off, knit, purl, knitting in the round

*Materials must be purchased ahead of class time.

Materials:

• US 3 & 5 needles in your preferred method for knitting small circumferences: DPN, 32" circular for Magic Loop, or try the ChiaoGoo Shorties
• DK weight yarn in 3 colors of 50 yards each approx. Sample in Coates & Co. Studio DK mini skeins
• Your choice of the Autumn Doodle cup cozy, Winter/Holiday Doodle cup cozy or 2024 Spring Doodle cup cozy patterns
• Get any of the Pacific Knit Co. Doodle Decks for additional pattern choices (optional)

Homework:

• Cast on 48 sttiches with preferred Ribbing color (darker color recommended)
• Work in K1, p1 rib for 3 rows

The Websters Class Policies:

• Pre-registration is required for all classes.
• Materials must be purchased in the shop ahead of class.
• Classes have a 4-6 person limit, depending on the class.
• Classes need a minimum of 3 students to run. If the minimum is not met by 2 days prior to class, students will be notified and credited for a future class.
• Cancellations up to 48 hours in advance will be issued a store credit.
• Cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for a refund.
