What knitter doesn’t dream of having their own sheep? These handknit friends, created by Freshy Millsap, are a wee bit easier to care for than a real herd. Choose stockinette or garter stitch for fleecy variety, and knit your own flock!

Sizes: Tiny (Larger) Wee Sheep
Finished Measurements: 3 (4)” height; 4 (5)" length
Yarn: Tiny Wee Sheep: 2 skeins (1 each of MC & CC) of Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift Larger Wee Sheep: 27 yards MC and 16 yards CC per sheep of DK weight Embellishment: 15 yards of crewel or fingering weight yarn for both sizes
Needles and Notions: US 1.5 (US 3) double pointed needles, US 0 (US 1) double pointed needles; For both sizes: US D/3 crochet hook, 1 yard smooth fingering weight yarn for provisional cast on, wool or polyester stuffing, small bells for embellishing neck, 8 locking markers, fine darning needle
Gauge: 30–32 stitches = 4" in stockinette stitch in the round (Tiny Wee Sheep); 24-26 stitches = 4" in stockinette stitch in the round (Larger Wee Sheep)
