Churchmouse Pattern Modern Wrapper Fine

Description

The original Modern Wrapper was a big hit, but several knitters has asked for a similar style without the mohair component. To achieve the requisite "lightness of being" without the mohair haze to fill in the gaps, the designers at Churchmouse shifted to a finer fabric, mixing (or matching) two strands of lace weight yarn. They also slimmed the silhouette and added a bit more precision to the fit by grading the design in three relaxed sizes and can be either an open cardigan or seamed tunic.

Sizes: XS/S (M/L, XL) To fit bust: 32-38 (40-46, 48-54)"

Finished Measurements: 54 (62, 70)" bust; 28.5 (30, 31.5)" length; 29.75 (31.75, 33.75)" length from center back neck to cuff; 16-22" positive ease

Yarn: 5 (5, 6) skeins each of Rowan Fine Lace or Isager Alpaca 1 (yarn held double)

Needles and Notions: US 6 & US 4 24"-32" circular needle, two ring markers, 17 (20, 23) locking markers, six stitch markers

Gauge: 22 stitches & 32 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch on larger needles after blocking
