Churchmouse Pattern Cozy Boot Cuffs

Description

Cozy boot cuffs in three heights add casual chic to your boots. Ribbed from top to bottom, these woolly cuffs give you the look of thick cozy socks, but fit nicely into your boots. Smooth stirrups keep them seated. Worked in the round, boot cuffs are a nice, easy 'warm-up' before you tackle your first pair of socks.

Finished Sizes: One size stretches to fit up to a 15" boot top circumference; To fit boot height (excluding heel): 6" ankle boot; 11" short boot; 15.5" tall boot (finished height includes 4" fold-down cuff)

Yarn: 2 skeins of Rowan Kid Classic (Ankle Boot); 4 skeins of Rowan Felted Tweed Aran (Short Boot); 460 yards of worsted weight (Tall Boot)

Needles and Notions: US 5 double pointed needles, US 8 needle for bind off, 2 yards smooth yarn for provisional cast on, US J crochet hook for provisional cast on, locking stitch marker, blunt darning needle

Gauge: 28 stitches = 4" in K2/P2 ribbing, not stretched
