Year End Highlights
Dec 24th 2025
Year end always brings with it reflections, and while 2025 was indeed a challenging year on many fronts, some of my proudest moments happened this year as well. Can I share them with you?
Our Free Fiber Library was Installed
This has been a joy to me every single day. Thank you for giving so generously and repurposing so creatively!
We started Thursday Knit Nights
What an amazing group that has been coming each and every week since then!
We love this new tradition.
Sashiko and Visible Mending
These were some of our most popular classes of the year, we are so thrilled you love them, and special thanks to Paula Hyatt for sharing her skills with us!
We hosted 3 (THREE!!) Retreats
We love the enthusiasm our retreats have been met with, and can't wait to share even more talented teachers with you all next year!
First Annual Yarn Swap
This was an absolute blast, and we can't wait to do it again with you all!
Giant Spice Rack
We moved this behemoth fixture in when our next door neighbors closed, and it adds so much function and charm to the space, we are delighted with it.
Community Outreach
We hosted several school groups for classes, and brought classes to our local libraries as well! We love sharing our love of fiber arts with the community.
Attended Flock & Fiber
What an amazing show! It was great to get to meet with some of our future retreat guests in person, and also see some amazing yarn!
Supported Other Local Businesses
As often as we can, we love partnering with and supporting other downtown businesses. Ashland has such a wealth of fantastic local shops.
Penelope Purl
And on a personal note, I got my first dog this year, and she has been a joy in all of my days since. Occasionally, you can even find her trotting around behind me in the shop!
We hope all of you can reflect on moments that brought you joy this year, and even more so if we got to share in any of them with you. Thank you for being our fiber family.
Merry Christmas!
