Upcoming Classes & Events
Mar 10th 2026
Did you know we offer a variety of in-person classes down at the shop? Our classes aren't just about learning new skills; they’re also about connecting with our amazing local community - which is full of fellow fiber enthusiasts! Imagine the joy of creating alongside others who share your passion, making new friends, and inspiring each other’s creative growth. Whether you’re picking up knitting needles for the first time, learning about sashiko stitching, or honing your Rigid Heddle weaving techniques, our knowledgeable teachers will guide you every step of the way.
We add new classes to our schedule regularly, so we encourage you to check back often to see what's coming up. Note that most of our classes have a limit of 6 students, so don't hesitate to register - they tend to sell out quickly. We've highlighted a few upcoming classes and events in this email, but there's SO much more to indulge in - click the button below to view our full schedule for March and April.

Our Community Yarn Swap is THIS WEEKEND! We are beyond excited to be co-hosting our second annual yarn swap at the Ashland Branch of Jackson County Library. This event will take place on March 14th from 1-4pm.
Are you asking yourself "what exactly is a yarn swap?!". Our yarn swap is a FREE event where we ask locals to donate yarn from their stash that they no longer want, and then invite our community to come down to the swap to "adopt" the donated yarn. These swaps are a great opportunity for participants to get a head start on spring cleaning, as well as acquire new materials for free, and connect with other knitters and crocheters.
Donations can be dropped off at either The Websters or the Ashland Library until March 13th. If you donate to the swap, you will receive a ticket for early entry. You MUST have a ticket for entrance between 1-2pm. If you do not have a ticket, you may enter from 2-4pm.
Click the button below for swap guidelines and details on what we are accepting.
MARCH CLASSES
If you've had a chance to visit our shop in Ashland, you already know knitting is a way of life for our talented and dedicated staff. We've decided to put our knitting needles to work for an incredible cause again April 11th, and we need your help!
The Knit for Food knit-a-thon is a 12 hour knitting marathon to raise funds and awareness for food insecurity. 100% of funds raised will be equally divided between Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels. In 2021 participating knitters raised $265,810! In 2022 they raised $271,761! In 2023 they raised $340,000! In 2024 they raised $379,010!! In 2025 they raised $530,840!!! That means knitters have raised over $1.7 MILLION with their knitting needles in five years - how amazing is that?!?
This is our second year participating in Knit for Food, and we've set up Team Websters again - lead by our staffer Sarah, who has committed to knitting for the cause. There are two ways to support the Knit for Food knit-a-thon: You can donate OR you can sign up to knit/craft for 12 hours!
Please click the button below to join us on Team Websters, donate to the cause, or to simply learn more about this year's Knit for Food knit-a-thon.

APRIL CLASSES
Even if you're not looking to take a class, we'd still love for you to join us socially! We're open late every Thursday evening from 5:30-7:30pm to host weekly Social Stitching (previously called Knit Nights) down at the shop.
We use this time to invite local makers down to the shop with the goal of providing a welcoming space full of creative inspiration for knitters, crocheters and handworkers of all types. This event is free to attend; so, bring your current project and a friend, and we hope to see you there!
