Last month Laurel and Sarah took a quick weekend away to attend Flock Fiber Festival in Seattle, and they brought back stock of something special to share with you... say hello to Magpie Fibers Swanky Sock and DK yarns! Don't you just want to reach out and give these luscious skeins a squish?!

We just LOVE a good hand dyed luxury blend, and these beauties from Magpie Fibers do not disappoint. Swanky Sock and Swanky DK are both made up of the same buttery blend of superwash Merino, cashmere and nylon. Whichever weight you choose to work with, your finished fabric is guaranteed to have beautiful drape and subtle sheen.

While the name "Swanky Sock" implies a sock yarn (and you absolutely can use it to knit socks!), we wanted to take a moment to talk about how amazing this fingering weight yarn is for shawls. Swanky Sock's lovely drape paired with its amazing hand, makes it the perfect choice for a variety of shawl patterns that you'll to want to cozy up in all year long.
