We've just wrapped up our first retreat of 2026, and we can honestly say they just keep getting better and better! We had a group of 23 attendees here from all over the country to learn from the brioche queen Lavanya Patricella, and it was such an amazing experience. From staying at the boutique Winchester Inn to wine tasting at Irvine Roberts Vineyard, and tons of knitting and fine dining in between, these events truly are one of a kind. We are SO grateful to be able to share our love of all things fiber related with everyone, and look forward to meeting a new group of attendees for our April retreat!
For those of you who couldn't join us, we encourage you to dive into brioche on your own with Lavanya's book, Brioche Knitting Workshop. One of our favorite parts of hosting retreats is creating limited-edition project bags for each event. For our recent retreat with Lavanya Patricella, we teamed up with local artist Isabelle Jipp to design these custom Della Q Tall Maker's Mesh Totes.
