Launch Gift Knit Season with Vientos!

We had so much fun celebrating one of our favorite brands last weekend for Malabrigo Day, and now that all of the new yarn is online, we can't wait to show you!

We have a few new goodies from Malabrigo, including Ultimate Sock Minis, the new Caracol on Black, and a brand new base we are highlighting today called Vientos.

Vientos is a superwash merino yarn known for its exceptional softness and rich, saturated color. Its two-ply construction offers more durability and structure than single-ply yarns, while still maintaining a lofty, cozy feel. It’s the perfect choice for warm, quick-to-knit projects that won’t feel too heavy.

Malabrigo's hand painted yarns are an excellent choice for all of your projects, but we have collected a few patterns designed with Vientos in mind!

Starship Cowl and Hat 2 skeins of Vientos will make both projects shown in Anniversario and Ivory (1 skein each)	Arcade Hat and Cowl 2 skeins of Vientos will make both projects shown in Black Forest and Amphibian (1 skein each)

Why not try your hand at a fun two-color brioche pattern? We think these two from our favorite Brioche queen Lavanya Patricella would work up great in Vientos! Both the slouch hat and cowl projects are suitable for newbies to Brioche.

Bulky Brioche Slouch Hat requires 1 skein each of 2 colors
(you can likely get 2 hats from those 2 skeins if you reverse the dominant color!)

"People often ask me if my patterns are good for a knitter that is new to brioche. I try to make all of my patterns beginner friendly but this one is designed especially for beginners that want to learn brioche or experienced knitters that just want to knit a fast cowl."
