Give the Gift of Luxury Leather
Dec 1st 2025
Looking for the perfect gift for that knitter in your life? Or maybe you're looking to treat yourself this holiday season? We've just restocked project bags from both Joji & Co and ReDesigned - and these leather beauties are precisely what knitter's dreams are made of. We find that a beautifully crafted bag not only elevates the knitting experience, but also adds a touch of sophistication to any fiber artist's collection.
Joji & Co is a small company that offers handmade leather bags from Argentina. This collaborative project was started by Joji Locatelli, a knitwear designer based in Buenos Aires. She's very passionate about her crafts and has always been interested in making a knitter or crocheter's experience a joyful one.
One of our favorite Joji & Co bags is the Knitter's Toolbox (featured above). Crafted using sturdy waxed leather, the Knitter's Toolbox is perfect for keeping your projects and notions organized. The toolbox features a removable flap inside to keep your yarns or tools separated and outside pockets for your notions, phone or keys, as well as two long, sturdy handles for easy carrying.

Just a reminder that Joji & Co bags are made by hand, therefore their batches are small. Our stock is limited and we don't expect more before the holidays, so if you see something you love don't hesitate to purchase - we expect these lovely bags to sell out quickly.
If you aren't yet familiar with ReDesigned, we encourage you to explore their amazing line of project bags! This Danish company started in 2003 making luxury leather handbags before launching "Project," their collection of high quality project bags and notions pouches for yarn crafters. Each bag is hand assembled by skilled artisans using 100% leather, resulting in an elegant and timeless bag that will be with you for many years to come.
One of the newest ReDesigned styles to land on our shelves is Project 45 (featured above in Dark Green). Project 45 is the perfect blend of style and functionality for knitting enthusiasts. This elegant doctor-style bag is crafted from premium leather and features a dedicated zippered compartment for your circular needles, and multiple small pockets for notions. With an optional shoulder strap, it's designed for easy carrying wherever your creativity leads. We currently have Project 45 bags available in Dark Green, Burned Tan, and Walnut.
Our unfaltering favorites from the Re:Designed collection are still the gorgeous Project 09 and 10 bags. These curated bags were designed for yarn enthusiasts and knitting aficionados and are available in 8 colors (featured above in Walnut/Gold). Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, each versatile bag is set to elevate your knitting experience to new heights - we love how these bags effortlessly blend style with functionality.
Both Project 09 and 10 are clever, beauty box style bags that unfold to cradle your beautiful yarns in style, with multiple slots and pockets to keep your needles, notions, and hooks secure while you're on the move. With everything neatly arranged, you can spend more time knitting and less time searching for your supplies.
Wondering which size to pick? Project 10 is large enough for a sweater project, while Project 9 is smaller and perfect for accessories. We will continue to receive shipments from ReDesigned after the holidays, but our current stock will sell out quickly! Grab yours today...

Whether you're a temperature blanket pro, new to the process, or looking for an unscripted project that literally changes with the weather, we invite you to join our 2026 Temperature Blanket Make-a-Long! We've created both a FB Group and a Ravelry Group for this MAL, and we encourage you to join one (or both!) to share your progress and stay in touch with other participants.
If you're local, come down to the shop anytime before the first of the year to get your supplies! We've got pattern suggestions (crochet & knit options available), an informative temperature scale worksheet, and are more than happy to help you choose your yarn and color palette. We recommend using a machine washable, worsted weight yarn like Berroco Vintage or Berroco Ultra Wool for this project.
This Make-a-Long will run through the entire year of 2026, and we highly encourage you to attend our monthly MAL meetups. Having the support and encouragement of your local crafting community is a great way to stay on track, even when life gets busy. Thursday, January 8th at 5:30pm will be our first Team Temperature Blanket check-in. Beginning in February, we'll be having regular MAL check-ins down at the shop the first Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:30pm.
Not local? Don't worry! Even if you can't join in person, you can still participate from afar - just pick your preferred knit or crochet pattern, choose your yarn, and get started on January 1st. Our MAL hosts Paula and Sarah will be sharing their blanket progress online throughout the year, and we'd love to see your progress too - don't forget to join our MAL groups below, and tag us on IG @yarnatwebsters
