A New Yarn From Rowan
Mar 17th 2026
New spring yarns are arriving nearly everyday down at the shop, and the most recent addition to the Rowan line just landed. Say hello to Baby Cashsoft Worsted! A thoughtfully balanced blend of merino wool, cashmere and acrylic, this yarn feels irresistibly soft against the skin while remaining durable and easy to care for. Its excellent stitch definition makes it an ideal choice for cozy blankets, babywear or any project where softness and functionality go hand in hand.
Machine washable Baby Cashsoft Worsted combines everyday practicality with a touch of indulgence. This yarn comes in 50g balls, and is available in a 12 color palette ranging from pastels to rich jewel shades.

With the release of Baby Cashsoft Worsted, the team at Rowan put out a collection of adorable baby blankets featuring this oh-so scrumptious yarn. We've noticed that knitting patterns inspired by quilting techniques have been on the rise lately, and we are absolutely loving the log cabin style Pop Blanket by Anna Hull. If you're local, swing by the shop to see (and feel) this sample in person!

The Splash Blanket by Georgia Farrell features a fun intarsia color block pattern, and we love how this classic design is elevated by the addition of textured moss stitch.
