Tussah is naturally soft beige and comes from silkworms fed on Oak leaves. It has a very long staple making it strong, lustrous and more resilient than cultivated “white” silks. Silk is pure luxury and has many qualities, such as natural sheen, strength, resistant to pilling and long fibres which make it easy to spin. It looks stunning when dyed and blends beautifully with other fibers.
