Last month we introduced WoolAddicts with their ocean inspired collection Sea Spray. Now that it is October, we are drawn to the warm chocolate and spicy saffron of Shine Out, a second collection from WoolAddicts Volume #1.
From the European yarn company Lang, the new WoolAddicts line brilliantly combines the elements with gorgeous color stories. Shine Out features a rich and vibrant gold, and combines it with muted browns and warm greys to create a cozy autumn portfolio. The colors, the silhouettes, and the images all come together to support these new yarns and create a unique package that you don't want to miss.
WoolAddicts Air uses colored merino fibers that are airspun around a core of nylon. The resulting look is cloudy with a subtle melange appearance and a cozy halo. Air looks terrific in stockinette stitch as well as textured stitches like the broken rib in No Plain Jane.
WoolAddicts Fire is yarn people first fall in love with. It captures the attention with its thick, rope-like appearance, and then at first touch, the ultra soft merino captures your heart. It is hard to imagine a quicker, more luxurious hat than one knit out of this bulky weight yarn... and Savage Saffron comes with an oversized pom pom for added flare.
WoolAddicts Water is knit in Butterfly Effect at an open gauge and uses the knit one below technique to create a vertical rib pattern. The real attention grabber is the asymmetrical use of color, with the lower quarter of the body done in contrast color one, and one wrist done in contrast color two. The lofty fabric created by Water is perfect for snuggling up in this Autumn.
Utterly Okay is a scrumptious turtleneck pullover knit in WoolAddicts Water. The half-brioche rib combines with the crimped baby alpaca to create a plush fabric, but we think the real winner here is the sunshine color.
