2026 Temperature Blanket Make-a-Long

Join us for our year-long 2026 Temperature Blanket Make-a-Long that's open to knitters and crocheters alike! Thursday, January 8th at 5:30pm will be our first MAL check-in here at the shop. Beginning in February, we'll have regular MAL check-ins the first Thursday of every month from 5:30-7:30pm.

Social

Social Stitching

We're open late every Thursday evening to host weekly Social Stitching (previously called Knit Nights) down at the shop! We use this time to invite local makers with the goal of providing a welcoming space full of creative inspiration for knitters, crocheters and handworkers of all types. So, bring your current project and a friend, and we hope to see you there!

We are so thrilled to be welcoming Sari Nordlund all the way from Finland to teach at our October retreat! Sari is known for her clean, timeless designs rooted in Scandinavian style and minimalism. Drawing inspiration from architecture, contemporary design, and classic silhouettes, she creates knitting patterns that feel both modern and enduring.








 

Beginning Cables Workshop

This Beginning Cables class will cover basic left and right cables and their variations, while making the Hygge Season socks. It will also cover reading basic cable charts and how to measure the gauge across cabled fabric.

Beginning Crochet 101 August

This three session, beginning crochet series will introduce you to the fun and fundamentals of crochet. You'll learn how to hold and tension your yarn, a variety of crochet stitches and how to read a pattern, then finish the class with a swatch stitch dictionary and washcloth and soap sack.

Fall Maple Leaf Sashi

This seasonal, fall-focused sashiko class teaches advanced beginning sashiko stitching skills using a fall maple leaf pattern. Students will create a Moyozashi stitch pattern using a grid stencil and specialized template to create a maple leaf block.

Doodle Christmas Stockings

Get ready for the holidays with your own customized Christmas stockings. Using the Pacific Knit Co. Doodle charts you will design your own stranded colorwork stocking and learn the basics for stranded colorwork, duplicate stitch, turning a heel and Kitchener stitch.
