If you've had a chance to visit our shop in Ashland, you already know knitting is a way of life for our talented and dedicated staff. We've decided to put our knitting needles to work for an incredible cause this April, and we need your help!

Knit for Food Knit-a-thon is a 12 hour knitting marathon to raise funds and awareness for food insecurity. 100% of funds raised will be equally divided between Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels. In 2021 participating knitters raised $265,810! In 2022 they raised $271,761!! In 2023 they raised $340,000!!! In 2024 they raised $379,010!!! That means knitters have raised over $1,250,000 with their knitting needles - how amazing is that?

This year we've set up Team Websters, and our staffer Sarah has committed to knitting for the cause. There are two ways to support the Knit For Food Knit-a-thon: You can donate OR you can sign up to knit/craft for 12 hours!

We decided to expand our stock of Moondrake Co. yarns to include Ultraviolet Stardust; a fingering weight yarn that’s packed with neon donegal neps that will add a playful pop of color to your next project.

We also expanded our stock of Moondrake Co. Fuwa Fuwa yarn to included SPECKLED colorways!  Fuwa Fuwa is named from the fluffy soufflé pancakes from Japan.
